MT HOOD Rhizomes



Mt. Hood matures mid-season. They like to grow in cooler coastal climates. Train to a fence or trellis. Vine grows 20-25 ft. in one season. They typically have an Alpha Acid range of 4.0-6.0%.

Aroma Hop: a mild and somewhat pungent aroma, with light grapefruit, lemony notes.

Typical Brewing Style: Lager, Pilsner, US Wheat, Alt, and Munich Helles.


Our 2017 Rhizome season has ended. Our next Rhizome season will begin late February - March 2018, weather permitting. Updates on availability will be announced on our social media and here on our website. Thank you for your orders and good luck with your homegrown hops.
