CHINOOK -- Rhizomes
Our Rhizomes will be available early March thru April, weather-permitting.
Chinook typically matures mid to late season. They grow well in most climates, but NOT in wet coastal climates. Train to a fence or trellis. Vine grows 20-25 ft. in one season.
Alpha Acid range of: 12.0-14.0%.
Chinook is a bittering variety with a spicy, pine, distinctive grapefruit aroma of medium intensity.
Typical Brewing Styles: US Pale Ale, IPA, Stout, Barley Wine, and Lager.
Please note: We ship only within the Contiguous US, excluding Oregon and Idaho counties: Bonner and Kootenai.
